WINE RESORT

Just two kilometres from the sea stands Le Fabriche, a 17th-century Masseria farmhouse nestled amongst olive groves and woodland. Here MarrubiuM takes shape amid the centuries-old bush-trained vineyards, carrying on a venerable tradition of winemaking.

Origins

Historical documents dating back to the early 1600s attest to the existence of Masseria Le Fabriche as an agricultural production centre and summer residence for the noble families who owned it. The name derives from the Latin “fabrica”, referring to the art of making and producing. The winery was established in the late 1990s; then, in 2020, Rinaldo Del Bono acquired the property.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea and set at the foot of the Murge Tarantine, MasseriaLe Fabrichestands suspended between land, sea and ancient silences within a unique ecosystem. Nature and human expertise come together to produce a wine with a deep and unmistakable identity.

The 17th-century white-stone Masseria farmhouse is at the heart of Le Fabriche, a wine-making venture founded in the Salento village ofMaruggiothanks to the friendship betweenRinaldo del Bonoand the oenologistMattia Vezzola. Their partnership is based on shared cultural values and on their desire to hand on to future generations the legacy of a unique place through a unique label, MarrubiuM, the embodiment of the millennia-old vocation of the lands of Upper Salento.
